Admissions/ Enrolment policy
Marseille International School has an open admissions policy and each application is considered entirely on its own merit. Our objective is to ascertain that the prospective pupil would benefit from the school's range of programmes and could contribute to the life of the school. We will meet with families before definitive enrolment.
The school uses the following criteria for class placement: the pupil's age, evaluation of the records from previous schools (if any) and the school's own assessment programme. The age chart as follows is a general guide:
- Playgroup: Children must be 2 years old for enrolment
- Kindergarten 1: Children must be 3 years old by 31 december of the current academic year
- Kindergarten 2: Children must be 4 years old by 31 december of the current academic year
- Kindergarten 3: Children must be 5 years old and so on from Grade 1 up to Grade 5.
