Music lessons at EPIM international school
At the EPIM, the arts are a vital component of our educational approach and participates to balance of the curriculum. The visual arts, theater and music are taught as an integral part of the international curriculum in a very interactive way with specialist teachers.

At the EPIM, the arts are a vital component in our educational approach. The visual arts, theater and music are taught as an integral part of the curriculum. In music class, children learned how to make ceramic musical instruments. Daniele, the music teacher, explained "This term, the overall school theme is "The Earth". So today, we will learn to make our own eathen flutes using clay. I am going to give each one of you your own piece of earth, and together we will make our Earth sing."
The teacher first played several ceramic flutes to demonstrate the various sounds that could be produced and then guided children as they shaped their own flutes.
Flutes will be fired and played in an EPIM musical performance.
