We
have the pleasure of inviting you to visit the EPIM establishments, Private
International Schools in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence
(Luynes), on Wednesday, March 24th in Luynes and March 31st
in Marseille, all day long from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Come
discover how the EPIM, bilingual international kindergarten and primary
schools, is organized to provide the best response to the specific needs of
each child enrolled, whether French or international children.
EPIM
schools offer nursery school, kindergarten and primary classes for children
from 2 to 11 years of age, approved by National Academic Inspection and
certified by the European Council of International Schools. Children speak
English half of the week, French the other half, in spacious, sunny and colorful
classrooms, where class size is voluntarily limited to 16 children per class.
EPIM
schools provide a complete educational program (where music, theater … go hand
in hand with mathematics, languages …), based on practical classroom
application of competencies acquired (encouraging children to become actors in
their learning process), and with individual pedagogical programs to respond to
the specific needs of each child.
Attentive
to welcoming both children in the French schooling cycles, as well as
international children, EPIM schools are organized around a program based on
the competencies to be acquired within French National Education, while
maintaining the quality standard of international schools recognized throughout
the world.
We
offer you the occasion, during these open days, to meet our Pedagogical
Director and her team who, with actual examples from the classroom, will show
you how EPIM practices permit your child to progress at his or her own rhythm
with confidence in two languages, while acquiring autonomous work methods,
indispensable for successful schooling in France or elsewhere.
You
will also learn how the EPIM addresses the different family profiles:
Ø
The French family who wishes to open up their
children to an international awareness, while preparing them in the best way
possible for French educational cycles,
Ø
The
bilingual family who wishes to see their child grow,
think and write in two or more languages, while benefiting from a program with
proven performance,
Ø
The international family, English-speaking
or not, who is settling in the region and wants their children to continue to
grow and progress in their fundamental acquisitions, based on recognized
international standards, in a country where they master neither the language
nor the culture.
Finally,
the EPIM also proposes a program of after-school activities on Wednesday
afternoons and during school holidays, from 4 years of age, where children
profit from English immersion arts workshops such as theater, visual arts and
music. You will have the opportunity to observe our Leisure Club, which will
continue to operate during the open days.
