EPIM : an international, bilingual, multilingual school in Provence
Going above and beyond its bilingual program, EPIM enriches the range of languages offered in its schools next school year with not only Dutch, but now with German and Italian.
[16/06/2011]
Since 2007, in response to the demand, EPIM in Aix-en-Provence (Luynes) provides opportunities for
native Dutch students to continue to make progress in
their national curriculum program. Working with experienced professors from their own country, the children benefit from
two to three hours weekly of study in
their language, incorporated into the school's bilingual French / English schedule.
With this reinforced teaching, children can then easily make the
transition back into their school system that they left a
few years earlier.
Up until recently, only Dutch has been proposed. However, in response to high demand, German and Italian will be
included into next year's program at EPIM Aix-en-Provence (Luynes) for native
language students.
